Cardiff Wellness Lounge – End of Year Round-Up

A huge thank you from all of us as we wrap up an unforgettable year

Hi everyone,

As we come towards the final stretch of the year, we wanted to take a moment to look back together. It has been a year of bold changes, new spaces, new partnerships, and a community that continues to make this place truly special.

A New Home and A New Era

One of our biggest milestones was moving from Global Link into our new home at Willcox House. This move marked the moment Cardiff Wellness Lounge stepped fully into the vision we have been building toward — and in 2025, everything finally came together.

This year, we:

• Built and launched our Contrast Therapy Lounge

• Expanded and improved all therapy rooms.

• Enhanced our Therapy Lounge with Hyperbaric oxygen therapies, seeing us collaborate with CryoCube.

• Opened our Coffee Lounge and Café, now a daily hub for comfort, connection, and community

• Launched Dry Needling, delivered by Waiyee as part of our targeted therapy range

  
  

We now offer a complete spectrum of treatments and recovery tools, including massage, oxygen therapies, altitude training, ice baths, saunas, pressotherapy, red light therapy panels and masks, dry needling, and more. It is everything we dreamed of bringing under one roof — and your support helped make it possible.

Partnerships That Inspire

Our Recovery Partner network flourished this year, and we are incredibly proud of the people and organisations who trust us with their wellness and performance.

We continued supporting Olympic boxer Rosie Eccles, and strengthened our long-standing relationship with Faye Pittman, an exceptional powerlifter and strongwoman who has become a core part of our recovery community.

We also welcomed more Welsh boxing talent, including Taylor Bevan and Owain Harris, continuing our role in supporting high-level athletes. We also welcomed the Celtic Warriors School of Combat as part of our Recovery Partner Community.

Cardiff Devils – A Standout Partnership

Our work with the Cardiff Devils Ice Hockey Team reached new heights this year. We expanded what we offer players — including oxygen therapy and access to our upgraded facilities — and many athletes and their partners are now regular members of the Lounge.

In return, our presence within the Devils community has grown too:

• We proudly support our sponsored player, Sanford

• Our branding now sits rinkside on our Lounge rink board

This partnership is built on genuine value and mutual growth.

Local Collaborations

We also strengthened ties with brilliant local businesses, including B42 and Glow Pilates, and so many more!

These collaborations brought fresh energy and expertise into the Lounge — and there is more planned for 2026.

Supporting Health in New Ways

This year brought the introduction of our full Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy range — a major advancement in what we can offer.

Most importantly, we expanded our support for those facing critical illness. For clients navigating cancer or end-of-life needs, we now cover 50% of the cost of hyperbaric sessions.

This is something we care deeply about, and it is a commitment we will carry forward into the year ahead.

Another huge part of this year has been the way our community has supported us behind the scenes.

To everyone who contributed to our fundraising campaigns, backed our projects, shared our story, or helped us reach key milestones so we could open, grow, and keep building the Lounge — thank you.

• Bring new spaces like the Contrast Lounge and upgraded Therapy and Recovery Lounges to life

• Invest in better equipment and services

• Keep moving the Lounge toward the vision we have held from the beginning

We would not be where we are without your belief in us.

Community, Coffee, Connection

To every mum who relaxed in the café after Baby Cloud when we first opened — thank you.

To the Willcox House workforce who drop in for caffeine, calm, or a quick reset — thank you.

And to every client who has visited for treatments, events, training, recovery, or simply a breather — thank you.

Together, we have created more than a wellness space. We have built a community hub — a place to learn, recover, relax, and belong.

Looking Ahead to 2026

2026 is already shaping up to be an exciting year, with:

• A full programme of crossover events with B42, Glow Pilates, and others

• More community-led workshops and Lounge Learning experiences

• A refreshed café menu with new food offerings

• Expanded oxygen therapy and recovery services

• Additional Sound baths, coffee tasting events, and social opportunities

2025 moved the Lounge into a new chapter, and 2026 will continue that journey with even more to offer.

We will be taking a short break over Christmas, so our team can rest and recharge.

Christmas Hours:

23rd 08:00-16:00

24th 08:00 - 14:30

Closed: 25th, 26th, 27th, 28th, and 29th December

Reduced Hours: 30th and 31st December

Closed: 1st Jan

Returning to normal from the 2nd.
